Stainless steel chain is one of the common lifting tools that requires no surface quoting and has very high resistance against corrosion. stainless steel chain has a shiny silver color and is produced using hot forging technique by cutting the chain rod in certain length and pass it through a mould. stainless steel chain is produced in two grades of 304 and 316 stainless steel which have equal mechanical properties and different chemical properties. G316 stainless steel chain has no magnetic interest and is better reserved in humid environment.
304 stainless steel mildly magnetic chain is much more expensive than carbon steel chains due to the existence of high value metals in the chemical compound including Chrome and Nickle. 304 stainless steel chain is produced using hot forging methods and is used mostly due to its anti stain qualities.
Grade 316 Short Link Chain are available in 5 sizes (see table below)
The Grade 316 Short Link Chain has is used in the agricultural, building and heavy industrial sectors. Please note: Chains are batch tested per consignment for breaking loads.
